Ky-ManiThe third album of his untitled debut is near completion, Ky-mani Marley certainly is a superstar in his own right. Ky-mani Marley is the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). He was born on 26 February 1977 in Falmouth. East African words for Ky-mani mean adventurous traveler. For an East African man, his album and his travels can be described as an adventure. The journey of his musical career began in 1999 , with The Journey. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles who was seeking his niche in music. in 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae compilation was released exposing a more mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well received worldwide, thus solidifying Ky-Mani's place as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani's musical style is one of reggae roots, layered along with hip hop, R&B as well as contemporary jazz.
