Amy Smart was an American model and actress. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. In 1996 she debuted as a actress in the TV film Her Costly Affair. After a difficult fight to get a part, she was offered a role in the 'Starship Troopers' series the film Starship Troopers. She struggled with the transition into acting since actors were never considered an actor, so they typically were given smaller parts. Amy was determined to keep trying. She climbed the ladder into bigger roles, beginning in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy was then promoted to lead parts in 2005's love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. It was a huge film at the box office and Amy was finally able to get the fame she had been seeking for more than 10 years. Amy was in several big movies in the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham.
