Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her roles as a lead actress in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. Her childhood was spent in Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. She was raised by her mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula took part in school co-curricular events, and she was particularly interested in the drama. She loved to play act with her classmates and took part in school's stage shows. After performing in several high school productions at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School She decided to pursue acting her occupation. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. She was assigned a 3 month project to create documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the task, she began working as a production assistant for TV documentaries. Next, she was going to start producing documentaries. While she was awed by the work she was doing but she was always wishing for the role of an actress. In the romantic comedy Hitch she starred in a minor part with Will Smith. Since then, she's appeared on many TV and film programs.
